Hymn Books are an integral part of worship at the vast majority of churches across the world and at St. Clement’s Anglican-Episcopal Church Prague we are no different. Music is a fundamental cornerstone of our worship and at St. Clement’s we use the “Complete Anglican Hymns Old and New”. Whilst hard wearing, our collection of Hymnals naturally and slowly succumb to the wear and tear that comes from weekly use.
Donating a New Hymn Book
How about donating the costs of a new Hymn Book or funding the repair of one either directly or via a Bookplate? If buying a Hymnal you would be able to choose to have your name in the front as donor, if you so wish. We would only ask that you donate a hard back version since these are so much longer lasting and therefore value for money. Refurbishment of Hymn Books
We also have a refurbishment project for our Hymn Books, with each refurbishment costing €10 or CZK 250. How about donating the cost of refurbishment for one or more Hymn Books via Paypal? You could make a Paypal donation in multiples of €10 or CZK250 and simply let our Treasurer Andrew Kasembe know by email.
Bookplates for Hymn Books
Lastly how about buying a Bookplate for insertion into the front of one of our Hymn Books? It is a perfect way to donate a lasting gift or commemorate a loved one in a way that will make their name seen every Sunday by a grateful parishioner whilst lifting up their voice in worship. Each Bookplate costs €20 or CZK500 and you could do this by donating directly to St. Clement’s via Paypal and, as above, letting our Treasurer Andrew Kasembe know via email.
