At St. Clement’s we strive to be a community where all are welcome, and this applies particularly to children. They are the greatest gift to our community and require from us the greatest care and attention. Children’s Ministry takes place during every Sunday Sung Eucharist service, always overseen by 2 experienced and qualified volunteer leaders who have put themselves forward and been vetted for the role.
Why Children’s Ministry?
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want every child to love God’s Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We know they’ll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, and video teaching.
Activities during Children’s Ministry
Activities are designed to be fun and educational, helping children come closer to God through play and learning, helping them love coming to church, find new friends, make special memories, and helping them make sense out of life through a gospel-centred world view that will help them make sense of life and situations they come across as they grow up.
Contacting you during Children’s Ministry
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we normally send you a text message.
My child has Special Needs
Finally, if you have a child with special needs who might need a little extra support to participate in Children’s Ministry, we’d love to partner with you to make their experience amazing!
Safeguarding of Children
Safeguarding is something we take very seriously at St. Clement’s, and you can check out more about our Safeguarding policies here. If you have any questions about how attendance at Children’s Ministry can help your child in their Christian Journey, please feel free to contact the Chaplain.
