Dear Worshippers and Friends of St. Clement’s,

It was good to see so many of you last Sunday. If you are in Prague, do join us on Sunday..

Sunday 7th July at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the Third Sunday after Trinity

Our Gospel Reading is Luke 10. 1-11, 16-20 where Jesus sends out the seventy and gives them special instructions to do his work. The supporting readings are Psalm 66. 1-8 which we will read responsively and Isaiah 66. 10-14 which unfolds in two units: a summons to rejoice (verses 10-11) and a promise of comfort and wellbeing from God (verses 12-14).

We will be joined by the Chapel Choir of TRINITY COLLEGE, OXFORDConducted by Tristan Weymes. Do invite all your friends and colleagues, no matter what their faith or persuasion. The music is excellent;and can be a deeply spiritual experience when sung by such an excellent choir, & in St. Clement`s acoustic!

Mass Setting: William Byrd: – Gloria, Sanctus, Benedictus and Agnus Dei

Anthems: Erik Ešenvalds: – Salutation; and possibly: De Sévérac – Tantum Ergo

Recessional: Charles H.H. Parry: – I Know My Soul Hath Power

Hymns will be:- Love divine, all loves excelling Blaenwern; And can it be Sagina; Alleluia, sing to Jesus Hyfrydol; andLord, for the years Lord of the years.

Children’s Ministry will be held separately during the Service and following worship, Cool Drinks & Refreshments will be served at the back of the church.

Thanks to everyone who contributed for Sally. Her surgery is now scheduled for next week. Please continue to remember her in your prayers. She is in need of someone who could help with Dog Sitting. There is a possibility of doing this full-time or part-time. If you think you can help, please let me know and I will connect you to Sally. Alternatively, you could get in touch with her directly to organize this.

There may be a few public transport restrictions this summer. I recommend you to check the connections on the Dopravní podnik hl. m. Prahy website www.dpp.cz in advance, to be able to be at the church on time.

If it was/is your birthday or wedding anniversary or any other special occasion last week or the coming week, we would be happy to share your joy and pray for you. You are invited to send to me the details by email to this address.

And last but not the least.. I wish all our American friends A Very Happy 4th July celebrations.

Yours in His Service,

Nathanial
