Sunday 21st July at 11.00 hrs– Sung Eucharist for the Fifth Sunday after Trinity
Luke 10. 38-42 is our Gospel reading which is about Jesus’ visit in the home of Mary and Martha. The supporting readings are Genesis 18. 1-10a where we read Abraham and Sarah encountered by the three mysterious travelers under the trees at Mamre and Colossians 1. 15-28 where Paul reminds the Colossians of Christ’s supremacy.
Hymns are:- O praise ye the Lord Laudate Dominum (Parry); O thou who camest from above Hereford; Come down, O Love divine Down Ampney; Amazing grace Amazing grace
Cool Drinks & Refreshments will be served at the back of the church.

I am delighted to bring to your knowledge that John Noonan has received Permission to Officiate as Reader in the chplaincy for a period of three years. Thanks to all who supported him prayerfully.
The ICS News Issue July edition featuring our Ministry in Prague is available online on the link https://www.ics-uk.org/july-ics-news. We have not been able to receive the copies sent by post for the chaplaincy – I am enquiring from the Czech Post if there has been a problem with the delivery.
We are looking for people willing to lead the Children’s Ministry from September onwards. Remember this in your prayers and if you can lead get in touch with me. Please also note that Safeguarding check is a prerequisite for taking up this responsibility.
Sally’s surgery went well and she is recovering. Please continue to remember her in your prayers.
