Dear Worshippers and Friends of St. Clement’s

As we draw closer to December, some of us may have already started the preparation for the Season of Advent. Please ensure that to be a part of the worship services as often as possible is your top priority this year. Do join us this coming Sunday..

Sunday 17th November at 11.00 hrs.– Sung Eucharist for the Second Sunday before Advent

Luke 21. 5-19 is our Gospel reading where Jesus foretells the destruction of the Temple and signs of end of time. The supporting readings are 2 Thessalonians 3. 6-13 which denotes that a community living in eager expectation of the Lord’s imminent return is not released from the obligation of work and Psalm 98, to which we will respond by declaring that ‘The Lord comes to judge the earth and the peoples with equity.

The Hymns are:- Crown him with many crowns Diademata; There is a Redeemer; And can it be? Sagina; and God of grace and God of glory Regent Square.

There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and after the worship Coffee Hour in the hall on the third floor of Klimentska 18.

Make every effort to join us on Tuesday..

Tuesday 19th November from 18.00 hrs. to 20.00 hrs – Bible Study in the hall on the first floor of Klimentska 18

This Tuesday there will be Bible Study on Mary, the mother of Jesus led by David Hellam. Please make every effort to be a part of the Bible Study. A simple meal will be made available making it easier for those of you who come directly from work to participate without worrying about a meal when you get back home. I would be grateful if you could drop a line and mention any dietary restriction(s), making it easier for me to arrange. However, do not hesitate to join if you decide at the last moment. It is an opportunity to meet new people, deepen relationships and learn from the Word of God. If the ground floor door of Klimentská 18 is locked, press the bell marked Kancelář & you will be buzzed in!
