Dear Worshippers and Friends of St. Clement’s,

Thank you for coming last Sunday, we had a very good number despite it being the summer mode. I hope you enjoyed the music by the Chapel Choir of Trinity College Oxford as much as I did.

Now coming to this Sunday, as announced in the church last Sunday, The Rev’d Canon Adele Kelham, Interim Archdeacon of the East would be coming to Prague for two days from tomorrow. She will also be our preacher on this coming Sunday…

Sunday 14th July at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the Fourth Sunday after Trinity

The Gospel Reading is Luke 10. 25-37 where we read one of the most familiar parables of Jesus-the parable of the Good Samaritan. The supporting readings are Psalm 25. 1-10 which we will read responsively and Colossians 1. 1-14 where we see from the opening of the letter onward Paul is seeking to assure his recipients that they already are in a relationship with God.

Hymns will be:- Praise to the Lord, the Almighty Lobe den Herren; Lord of all hopefulness Slane; Jesu, Lover of my soul Aberystwyth ; and Go forth and tell Woodlands.

Cool Drinks & Refreshments will be served at the back of the church. And after the service Church Council meeting will be held.

Please note that there will be NO Children’s Ministry from now until the beginning of September which will be led by Barbara Payne. We are very thankful to David Hellam for leading the Children’s Ministry for all these years. As usual, there will be a playmat for the younger ones at the back of the church.
