Jack in his sermon discusses that, ‘’The kingdom of God is not a prop for the status quo; it is the power of God at work in history to bring shalom, wholeness and healing to people and the structures of power and culture in which they live and we have a responsible part to play in growing into so great a salvation.’’

Celebratory Prayer for birthdays and wedding anniversaries or any other such occasion is a part of our regular service. You are invited to send to me the details of your birthday or any special occasion for which you would like us to pray, by email to me.

If anyone can help us remember when we used Hymns Ancient and Modern, New Standard 1985 edition, at St. Clement’s and where they may be now please write to Churchwarden Gordon Truefitt gordontruefitt@yahoo.co.uk or to me.
