Dear Worshippers, Friends and Patrons of St. Clement’s,

Join us for worship this Sunday..

Sunday 29th October at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for International Sunday
I invite you to come to the church wearing something Traditional. The Gospel Reading is Matthew 24:30-35 where Jesus tells us about His second coming and He will send out His angels to gather his elect from the four winds, whilst the supporting readings are Nehemiah 9:5b-8 where Ezra says that God is the Lord of all creation and Galatians 3:26-29 where Paul writes that in Jesus Christ we are all children of God through faith. During the service, we will have a special Czech hymn and will say Lord’s prayer in our mother tongue as we will celebrate our Christian Unity in Diversity.

Followed by Bring n Share- International Lunch in the hall on the third floor of Klimentska 18. Make your favourite cuisine and bring enough for your family + 1 extra. This is an opportunity to invite your friends who do not normally come to church. Make sure you offer to come with someone.

Tuesday 31st October – 18.00 to 20:00 in the small meeting room on the first floor of Klimentska 18
Join for an evening of discussion and discovery led by David Hellam on Happy Families? What message does a divided church give to the world. This will be the fifth of the seven Tuesdays we will be looking at how we can develop a Biblical perspective on what it means to be a church in the 21st century. As previously mentioned, if the outside door of Klimentska 18 is locked, please press the bell marked Kancelář and you will be buzzed in.

Other important things…

My sermon from last Sunday is now available to listen to on the church website. If you have missed it or would like to listen to it again please click on the link. The sermon is about Moses’ petition to God to go with the Israelites; for it is only because of His presence that the Israelites shall be distinct from every people on the face of the Earth. It focuses on how Holy God and sinful man cannot unite except through Jesus.

Remembrance Poppies: Thanks to NAME and NAME, these will be available at the back of the Church this coming Sunday and the following Sunday, in return for a donation to the poppy appeal.

Celebratory Prayer for birthdays and wedding anniversaries or any other such occasion is now a part of our regular service. You are invited to send to me the details of your birthday or any special occasion for which you would like us to pray, by email.

Yours in His Service,
Nathanial
