The Canadian choir `OXFORD CHURCH MUSIC` with 40 strong choristers will be joining us this Sunday. Under the direction of name, the Director of Music and Organist at Christ Church St. James Anglican, Toronto; they will sing:-

“River in Judea” – a contemporary piece as an Introit; “The Hallelujah Chorus” as a blues/gospel praise hymn version in place of our usual setting of the Gloria; “Jesus, give us Your peace” – a slow blues/gospel devotional during Communion; and an arrangement of “The Heavens Declare The Glory Of the Lord” by Marcello – a lively 18th century piece – as a Recessional.

This is an opportunity to invite your friends interested in music but who do not normally come to church. Make sure you offer to come with someone. It would be much appreciated if you could please bring a bottle of your favourite pop or soda and/or a plate`s worth of biscuits or cake to share after the service, if you can.
