Dear Worshippers, Friends and Patrons of St. Clement’s,
My thanks to all those who helped in the Holy Week services especially to Jack Noonan for the reflection on Good Friday and to our Webmaster and our Churchwardens for getting the details of our services on all major websites to reach out to tourists and visitors looking for services in English and to everyone who came ‘with family’. We had an amazing congregation of 128 adults plus children.
I am currently on Post-Easter leave and Rev’d Ricky Yates has kindly consented to be the celebrant and preacher this coming Sunday..
Sunday 8th April at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the Second Sunday of Easter
The Gospel reading will be the post-resurrection accounts where Jesus appears to the Disciples, from the Gospel of John 20. 19-31. The supporting readings will be Acts 4. 32-35, which is a brief overview of early church life and 1 John 1. 1-2.2 where we read about the manifestation and the fellowship of the divine life. There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and following worship, Coffee Hour in the hall on the third floor of Klimentská 18.

Annual Church Meeting (ACM) and the Church Electoral Roll (CER)
Our ACM will be held following worship, on Sunday 22nd April 2018. At the ACM, you will elect, two Churchwardens, up to nine additional Church Council members for one year. The Revised Electoral Roll and the form for nominations for all of these positions is on the noticeboard at the back of Church. Each person nominated needs a proposer & seconder and all three must be members of the Church Electoral Roll. The consent of the proposed candidate is also required. Whilst nominations can be made up until the beginning of worship on Sunday 22nd April, it would better that they be made as early as possible!
