Dear Worshippers and Friends of St. Clement’s,

Thanks to Rev’d Ricky Yates for being the celebrant and preacher last Sunday while I was away from Prague.

Do join us this first Sunday of the year to give thanks and praise..

Sunday 6th January starting at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the Feast of Epiphany

This coming Sunday is the Feast of Epiphany, celebrating the visit of the wise men to the Infant Jesus, which marks the begining of the Epiphany season. The Gospel Reading is Matthew 2. 1-12 where we read about the visit of the wise men. The supporting readings are Isaiah 60. 1-6 where the prophet emphasizes on the nations (Gentiles) bringing wealth to Jerusalem—mentioning gold and frankincense and Ephesians 3. 1-12 in which Paul explains “the mystery” that was so long hidden but now has been revealed to us.

There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and following worship, Coffee Hour in the hall on the third floor of Klimentska 18.

It being the first Sunday of the month, following our worship in Prague, I will be off to Brno for our regular monthly worship service..

Sunday 6th January starting at 17.00 in Brno – Holy Communion with hymns for the Feast of Epiphany

If you have family or friends living in Brno, do tell them about our services there. For more information, follow the link http://susanaj10.sg-host.com//brno/.

Other important things..

A number of people have expressed their thanks for being able to listen to past sermons online athttp://susanaj10.sg-host.com//sermons/. This service should be resumed from the coming Sunday once our technical wizard David Hellam is back in Prague.

If it was/is your birthday or wedding anniversary or any other special occasion last week or the coming week, we would be happy to share your joy and pray for you. You are invited to send to me the details by email to this address.

And once again.. May I wish you Happy New Year.

Yours in His Service,

Nathanial
