I hope to see many of you on Saturday for the Environment Walk to the Czech Switzerland. Many of you have already been in touch with Gordon Truefitt who is coordinating this walk. However, if you haven’t done so and would like to join please email him by tomorrow noon i.e. 31st August 2018, so that he can arrange group ticket for everyone in time. Sunday 2nd September starting at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for The Fourteenth Sunday after Trinity
The Gospel reading is Mark 7. 1-8, 14, 15, 21-23 where Jesus addresses three different audiences: a group of Pharisees and Scribes who raise the question of defilement, the crowd and his disciples. The supporting readings are Song of Solomon 2. 8-13 the text begins with the woman describing her beloved as a gazelle leaping over the mountains than the man speaks, and the imagery is beautiful and James 1. 17-27 where James says that human beings, are brought forth by God by means of a word of truth, are to reflect divine goodness and perfection in the world and he also gives us good and strong advice to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. Our preacher will be Licensed Reader John Noonan.
There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and following worship, Cool Drinks and Light Refreshments will be served at the back of the church.
Following our worship here in Prague, I will be going to Brno for our regular monthly service there.

We are currently looking for a New WEBMASTER to take care of our online presence. Minimum requirement is making sure we are legal and have renewed our permissions and licenses. You need to update the website atleast twice a week by uploading past messages, forthcoming events etc. If you are interested do let Gordon, Stephen or anyone on the church council know or reply to this message.
