The Gospel reading is Luke 21. 25-36 where Jesus talks about his second coming and the signs of the end of times and the supporting readings are Jeremiah 33. 14-16 in which the prophet gives us the word of promise and hope and 1 Thessalonians 3. 9-13 where Paul expresses his joy and thanksgiving upon receiving the good report from Timothy about the little church in Thessalonica.

There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and following worship Coffee Hour in the hall on the third floor of Klimentska 18.

It being the first Sunday of the month, following our worship service in Prague I will be off to Brno..

Sunday 2nd December starting at 17.00 – Holy Communion with Hymns for the First Sunday of Advent

I will be travelling to Brno with some people from our Prague congregation who responded to the call for participation in our only service before Christmas in Brno to share the joy of Advent with our people there. If you wish to join us but are late in taking the decision, do get in touch with me or with churchwarden Gordon Truefitt so that we can share the travel itinerary making it easier for you to travel with the group.

And if you have family or friends in that region do tell them about our service, we will be very happy to welcome them.

Tuesday 4th December from 18.00 to 20.00 – Advent Meditation

The First Advent Meditation was on ‘Let there be light’ and David led us in making crafts with LED lights and modelling dough. The second will be held this coming Tuesday to which you are very welcome. If the ground floor door of Klimentská 18 is locked, press the bell marked Sborový Kancelář & we’ll buzz you in!
