Sunday 27th January at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the Third Sunday after Epiphany
Continuing the Epiphany season theme of Jesus being ‘made manifest’ or ‘shown forth’, our Gospel reading will be Luke 4. 14-21, where Jesus, in the synagogue at Nazareth, reads words from the prophesy of Isaiah and then declares, ‘Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing’. We will also have Psalm 19 as our responsive Psalm and hear more of what St. Paul has to say about spiritual gifts, from 1 Corinthians 12. 12-31a.
There will be parallel Children’s Ministry, and following worship, Coffee Hour in the hall on the third floor of Klimentská 18

Early Notice – Next Sunday i.e. 3rd February 2019 – Licensed Reader John Noonan will be our preacher.
Don’t forget to bring some tinned food and warm winter clothing and place it in the correct red wheelie bin at the back of Church, to support the work of the Salvation Army with the homeless in Prague. Thank you to everyone who started refilling the wheelie bins.
Likewise, if you have any used postage stamps, bring them & put them in the collecting envelope pinned to the noticeboard at the back of the Church to support the work of the Intercontinental Church Society, who in turn, support us. Again, thanks to those who have already helped to fill the collection envelope. I have now been informed that British ones bearing only the Queen’s head are also acceptable.As I informed in my last weekly the chaplaincy’s electoral roll is due to be completely revised, this year. This would mean every member already on the electoral roll and those willing to join new should fill the membership form which are available at the back of the church and is also available for download on the church website by following the link http://susanaj10.sg-host.com//wp-content/uploads/2013/01/ER-New.pdf and either hand it over to me on Sunday or send it via post to my address. Please also note that the we may have to hold Annual Church Meeting(ACM) earlier than Church Council initially decided. I will update you about the date changes in my upcoming weekly messages.
The Diocese in Europe- Annual Review 2017-18 will be available at the back of the church on Sunday.
