Dear Worshippers and Friends of St. Clement’s,

Last Saturday fourteen young people joined the chaplaincy’s youth get-together and we had a wonderful time praising God and knowing one another. Many thanks to everyone who upheld us prayerfully.

Do join us this week..

Sunday 25th November starting at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for Christ the King- The Sunday next before Advent

The Gospel reading is John 18. 33-37 in which we read the trial of Jesus before Pilate where the charge of kingship is the central question. The supporting readings are Daniel 7. 9-10, 13-14 where the text emphasizes first on the kingship of God, who is portrayed in Daniel’s vision as “an Ancient One,” and second on the eternal kingship that is given to the one like a human being and Revelation 1. 4a-8 which are the opening verses of the book that informs readers of the name of the sender, the recipients of the message who are the seven churches mentioned in chapters 2 and 3, and the greeting to the listeners.

There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and following worship Coffee Hour in the hall on the third floor of Klimentska 18.

Tuesday 27th November from 18.00 to 20.00 – Advent Meditation

The Advent Meditation will be held this coming Tuesday. This will be the first of the three consecutive Tuesdays the series will be held. Do plan to join us and if you have family or friends who would be interested in exploring from and through the Word of God, they are very welcome. If the ground floor door of Klimentská 18 is locked, press the bell marked Sborový Kancelář & we’ll buzz you in!
