Sunday 24th June starting at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for The Fourth Sunday after Trinity
The Gospel reading is Mark 4. 35-41 where we find Mark’s account of Jesus calming the storm and the supporting readings are 1 Samuel 17. 32-49 where we read one of the most famous stories of the Old Testament- David and Goliath and 2 Corinthians 6. 1-13 in this passage, Paul longs for the Corinthians’ faith not to be meaningless. During the service, we will also have the Admission of the Churchwardens Gordon and Stephen for this term. There will be parallel Children’s Ministry.
Following worship, weather permitting, there will be Picnic in Lannova Park(between the church and the river) otherwise in the hall on the third floor of Klimentska 18. Make your favourite summertime dish – sweet or savoury or bring drinks of any kind. Friends are welcome too!

As mentioned in the previous weekly messages, the church is organising a retreat from 5th to 7th July at Tabor J.A. Komenskeho http://www.taborbelec.cz/. We have only one space left. If you would like to attend, please get in touch with me as soon as possible.
We are currently looking for a New WEBMASTER to take care of our online presence. Minimum requirement is making sure we are legal and have renewed our permissions and licenses. You need to update the website atleast twice a week by uploading past messages, forthcoming events etc. If you are interested do let Gordon, Stephen or anyone on the church council know or reply to this message.
