Sunday 23rd September starting at 11.00 – A Service of Word for Harvest
There will be NO Children’s Ministry. Following worship, there will be Bring n Share Lunch in the hall on the third floor of Klimentska 18. Friends and visitors are welcome to join.
Other important things..
As mentioned earlier, I am not in Prague till 24th September. Incase of any urgent situation arising contact the duty-warden Stephen Weeks. The contact details are available on the following link http://susanaj10.sg-host.com//about-us/who-is-who/.
Many of you may have already noticed the rise in the weekly expenditure of the chaplaincy mentioned in our printed bulletin. For those of you who haven’t, the churchwardens have signed a new lease contract with our host congregation which has led to an increase of 2000 CZK per week making the new amount to 25,610 CZK. We were benefitted from the last lease contract for the last eight years and the new setting is for atleast six years. Other than some support we get from Intercontinental Church Society(ICS), we are largely self-supporting. May I urge you to pray and think about increasing your support to the church. Here is the link to the various options available to make donation together with the contact details of the Treasurer, in the event you would like to discuss anything further, http://susanaj10.sg-host.com//about-us/finances/.
Last to last Sunday, volunteers found Bible (NRSV) in the pew before closing the church. Though some of the details are mentioned on the first page but we are not able to identify to whom it belongs. If you forgot your Bible last Sunday or know someone who did, do connect them to me.
The Diocesan Prayer Diary is no longer a European Anglican insert but is available for online access and as a download for local printing on the following link It is also available direct to smartphones and tablets using the PrayerMate app.
Celebratory Prayer for birthdays and wedding anniversaries or any other such occasion is a part of our regular service. You are invited to send to me the details of your birthday or any special occasion for which you would like us to pray, by email to this address.
Yours in His Service,
Nathanial
