Dear Worshippers, Friends and Patrons of St. Clement’s,
Do join us for worship this Sunday..
Sunday 20th May at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the Pentecost Sunday
As we have in the last five years, I invite you to come to Church on Pentecost Sunday, wearing something RED. Early in the service, we will hear the Pentecost account from Acts 2. 1-21, followed by the words, ‘The Lord is here. His Spirit is with us’. Then we will hear those same words, ‘The Lord is here. His Spirit is with us.’ in as many languages as possible. If you can say those words in any language other than English, please let me know by replying to this email. My thanks to all those who have already been in touch with me.
The supporting reading will be Romans 8. 22-27 which speaks about the activities of the Holy Spirit, whilst the Gospel Reading will be John 15. 26-27; 16. 4b-15 where Jesus describes the work of the Holy Spirit. There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and following worship, Bring n Share Lunch in the hall on the third floor of Klimentska 18.
