Dear Worshippers, Friends and Patrons of St. Clement’s,
Thank you to those who joined us for the Lent Bible course on Tuesday and for the Pellissippi Concert on Wednesday. I hope that many of you are able to join us for the upcoming services. Your participation is in itself a ministry and an encouragement to others. Coming to this Sunday..

The Gospel Reading is John 12. 20-33 the account in which Jesus was in Jerusalem for the last time and it is the opening section of Jesus’ final discourse for the world. The Old Testament supporting reading is about a new covenant and a renewed relationship between God and His people given in Jeremiah 31. 31-34 while the New Testament reading is Hebrews 5. 5-10 in which it is given that Christ is our High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek. There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and following worship, Coffee Hour in the hall on the third floor of Klimentska 18.
Tuesday 20th March from 18.00 to 20.00 – The Lent Bible Study
Join us for the last Lent Bible Study on Death Defeated in the hall on the first floor of Klimentska 18. I will be the presenter for this one. If the outside door is locked, please press the bell marked Kancelář and you will be buzzed in.

Annual Church Meeting (ACM) and the Church Electoral Roll (CER)
Our ACM will be held following worship, on Sunday 22nd April 2018. To be eligible to either stand for election to the Church Council, and/or vote at the ACM, you need to be a member of the CER. A copy of the current CER is pinned on the noticeboard at the back of the Church. The Church Council will go through the current CER and delete the names of those we know who no longer reside in the Czech Republic, as we are allowed to do, and a revised CER will then be posted.
However, if you joined the congregation in the last year or two and are not on the current CER, now is the time to apply to join. If you are a baptised Anglican/Episcopalian/Old Catholic, you can apply straight away. If you are a baptised member of another Christian Church which believes in the doctrine of the Holy Trinity, and have ‘habitually worshipped’ at St. Clement’s for at least the last six months, then you too are eligible to apply. Forms to do so are in a folder, attached to the noticeboard at the back of the Church, alongside the current CER. Completed application forms must be returned to me, no later than 30th March – Good Friday, which would make the revision of the CER easier. Please note – filling out a Newcomers’ Form in our Welcome Booklet, got you onto my email circulation list, but does NOT put your name on the CER. You have to apply using the correct form in the folder on the noticeboard. I am happy to share that I have already received seven forms and we look forward to have many of you, the eligible ones, on the electoral roll.
Celebratory Prayer for birthdays and wedding anniversaries or any other such occasion is a part of our regular service. You are invited to send to me the details of your birthday or any special occasion for which you would like us to pray, by email to me.
Yours in His Service,
Nathanial
