Dear Worshippers and Friends of St. Clement’s,
Please join us this coming Sunday for..
Sunday 14th April at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for Palm Sunday
Our Gospel reading is Luke 19. 28-40 where we hear Luke’s version of the story of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. The supporting readings will be Isaiah 50. 4-9a where we read part of one of the “servant songs” and Philippians 2. 5-11 in which we have beautiful Christological statement. Palm crosses will be distributed and there will be parallel Children’s Ministry. Following worship Refreshments will be served at the back of church so that we can start the ACM sooner.
The Annual Church Meeting (ACM) will take place after worship on Sunday 14th April 2019 : I encourage all members of the Church Electoral Roll to be present at the ACM. It will be your opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions etc, about the congregational life of St Clement’s in addition to hearing reports about the past year and receiving 2018 accounts. At the ACM, you will elect, two Churchwardens, up to nine additional Church Council members for one year. A form for nominations for all of these positions is on the noticeboard at the back of Church. Each person nominated needs a proposer & seconder and all three must be members of the Church Electoral Roll. The consent of the proposed candidate is also required. Nominations can be made up to the beginning of worship on Sunday. Non-members of the Church Electoral Roll are also welcome to be present at the ACMbut cannot vote.
Then join us for the Bible Study on Tuesday…
Tuesday 16th April from 18.30 to 20.00 – Lent Bible Study
We look forward to welcoming you to the sixth and the last session of our ongoing Bible Study series focussing on the Book of Romans. This will
be held in the small meeting room on the first floor of Klimentská 18.
If the ground floor door is locked, press the bell marked Kancelář & we’ll buzz you in! The theme for this Tuesday is Righteousness Spread- Service – Romans 15-16.
A simple meal will be made available making it easier for those of you who come directly from work to participate, without worrying about a meal when you get back home. I would be grateful if you could drop a line and mention any dietary restriction(s), making it easier for me to arrange. However, do not hesitate to join if you decide at the last moment.
Other important things…
I will write with more details, early next week. But the dates and times of services are:

Yours in His Service,
Nathanial
