Dear Worshippers and Friends of St. Clement’s,
Many thanks to our Licensed Reader John Noonan who led the worship for the last two Sundays.
Coming to this Sunday when many of you will be celebrating Mother’s Day, do come and join us as we hold a special prayer for mothers.
Sunday 12th May at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the Fourth Sunday of Easter
Our Gospel reading is John 10. 22-30 which records
Jesus saying, ‘My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me.
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish’. The supporting readings are Acts 9. 36-43 where we read Peter raised Tabitha/Dorcas from the dead and Psalm 23 which we will read responsively. The hymns are Ye servants of God Paderborn, The Lord my pasture shall prepare Surrey, In heavenly love abiding Penlan, I, the Lord of sea and sky Here I am, Lord.
As many of you are already aware, Gordon Truefitt and Stephen Weeks were re-elected as Churchwardens at the ACM last month. I will formerly swear them in on behalf of the Bishop, during the service.
There will be parallel Children’s Ministry, and following worship, Coffee Hour in the hall on the third floor of Klimentská 18.
