Dear Worshippers, Friends and Patrons of St. Clement’s,

Do join us this coming Sunday..

Sunday 11th February at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the Sunday next before Lent
The Gospel Reading will be an account of the Transfiguration as recorded in Mark 9. 2-9. The supporting readings are 2 Kings 2. 1-12 in which the writer of the book of Kings brings us to the time when Elisha was about to take over prophetic leadership from Elijah and 2 Corinthians 4. 3-6 where Paul wrote that the will of the devil is to keep people in ignorance but God’s will is to give the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and following worship, Coffee Hour in the hall on the third floor of Klimentska 18.

Ardingly Choir, West Sussex, under the direction of Richard Stafford will be joining us this Sunday. This is an opportunity to invite your friends interested in music but who do not normally come to church. Make sure you offer to come with someone.

I invite you to the Lent Bible Study in the hall on the first floor of Klimentska 18. If the outside door is locked, please press the bell marked Kancelář and you will be buzzed in.

Then on Wednesday, Lent begins!

Wednesday 14th February at 19:00 –Ash Wednesday Eucharist

My sermon from last Sunday is now available to listen to on our church website. If you have missed it or would like to listen to it again follow the link. The sermon is centered around the pre-existence of Christ when the Universe was formed which is foundational to Christian faith and includes the reflection on the Trinity.

Celebratory Prayer for birthdays and wedding anniversaries or any other such occasion is a part of our regular service. You are invited to send to me the details of your birthday or any special occasion for which you would like us to pray, by email.
