Firstly – worship this coming Sunday
Sunday 1st October at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the Sixteenth Sunday after Trinity
The Gospel reading is Matthew 21:23-32 whilst the supporting readings are Exodus 17:1-7 and Philippians 2:1-13. There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and following worship, Cool Drinks and Refreshments at the back of the church.
It being the first Sunday of the month, following our service in Prague, I will be off to Brno for our regular monthly service..
Sunday 1st October at 17.00 – Holy Communion for the Sixteenth Sunday after Trinity in Brno
During the service, the baptism will take place. If anyone is interested to join the service, please get in touch with me. Following worship, there will be refreshments at the back of the church.
Tuesday 3rd October 18.00 – 20:00 in the small meeting room on the first floor of Klimentska 18
Join for an evening of discussion and discovery led by David Hellam on I Will Build My Church – What is Jesus’ plan for us?. This will be the second of the seven Tuesdays we will be looking at how we can develop a Biblical perspective on what it means to be a church in the 21st century. If the outside door of Klimentska 18 is locked, please press the bell marked Kancelář and you will be buzzed in. Saturday 7th September – Bear Walk to Beroun
As a part of the environment project the church is organizing a Bear Walk to Beroun. Please contact Environment Officer for more information.
Sunday 8th September at 11.00 – Harvest Festival Family service.
The service will be led by David Hellam. Following worship, there will be Bring and Share Lunch in the hall on the third floor of Klimentska 18.

This will be the third of the seven Tuesdays we will be looking at how we can develop a Biblical perspective on what it means to be a church in the 21st century. As many of you know, my father left for his heavenly abode last week therefore I will be travelling to India from Tuesday 3rd October to Sunday 8th October. Please note that during this period I will not have access to this email and there is a distinct possibility that I may not be able to take phone calls.
