Dear People & Friends of St. Clement’s,

This week’s ‘Weekly Message’ will be quite brief. It is mainly to remind you about what is happening this coming Sunday at St. Clement’s.

Sunday 24th June at 11.00 – Family Eucharist followed by a Church Family Picnic

Our Bible Readings this coming Sunday each remind us of how great God is and so beyond the complete understanding of our finite minds. The Old Testament reading is Job 38. 1-11 whilst the Psalm is 107. 1-3 & 23-32. The Gospel Reading is Mark 4. 35-41 which tells of Jesus stilling the storm on the Sea of Galilee.

Following our worship we will move straight away to the nearby park on Lannova, between the Church and the Vltava River, for our Church Family Picnic. The park has excellent facilities with seating, play equipment for children, shelter (according to the weather forecast, from the sun , not the rain!!) & toilets.

What do you need to bring? As David Hellam explained in Church last Sunday, finger food/picnic food that can be shared. Please bring a little bit extra food so we can also invite any visitors to join us as well. Cool soft drinks will be provided. If anyone wants to also bring some wine or beer then they’re most welcome to do so. We should have sufficient plastic cups & serviettes.

There will be some activities/entertainment for the children & the opportunity for the adults to share fellowship together before so many of you are away on holiday or visiting family & friends back in your home countries, during July & August.

I look forward to seeing many of you at Church & at our picnic this coming Sunday.

Best wishes

Ricky
