Sunday 23rd June at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the First Sunday after Trinity
Our Gospel reading is Luke 8. 26-39 where Jesus heals a man with a demon. The supporting readings are Isaiah 65. 1-9 in which prophet Isaiah emphasises on the disparity between God’s receptiveness and desire to be found and the people’s recalcitrance and Galatians 3. 23-29 where Paul emphasises on the equality of all believers through faith in Christ. Our Preacher will be Licensed Reader John Noonan.
Hymns will be:- `O for a thousand tongues to sing`– Lyngham; `Come down, O love Divine`– Down Ampney; `Alleluia, sing to Jesus`–Hyfrydol & `And can it be`- Sagina
There will be parallel Children’s Ministry.

Alasdair Duncan, our brother in Christ died on 14th June 2019 fighting against cancer. His funeral was held on Wednesday in the church. Please remember his family & friends in your prayers.
John Noonan our Reader; is hoping to enter into a new ministry agreement soon, based on his existing Permission to Officiate (PTO), as his current license is about to end. Please pray for him. (WE NEED HIM!)
