Dear People & Friends of St. Clement’s,

There are two good reasons why you should join us for worship at St. Clement’s this coming Sunday – we have a visiting choir and a visiting preacher!

Sunday 22nd June at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the First Sunday after Trinity
Our visiting choir are from St. Chad’s College, Durham UK and will be singing a a setting of the Communion Service in F by Harold Darke. They will also sing an anthem during the administration of communion as well as giving some strong support to our hymn singing.

Our visiting preacher is Rev’d Dr Stephen Lahey, an Episcopal priest from the USA who teaches at the University of Nebraska and is a good friend of Rev’d Dr Karen Moritz. His research interest in the writings of Jan Hus and John Wycliffe, has brought him to Prague both last summer & this summer. I’m very much looking forward to hearing him preach this Sunday. Our Bible readings will be Jeremiah 20. 7-13, Romans 6. 1b-11 & Matthew 10. 24-39. There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and Cool Drinks & Light Refreshments will be served at the back of Church following worship.

After Cool Drinks & Light Refreshments, your Church Council will be meeting. We would value your prayers as we seek a way forward for the Church in the light of our continued struggle for financial viability.

Best wishes

Ricky
