Dear People & Friends of St. Clement’s,

I want to start my ‘Weekly Message’ this week, with a big ‘Thank you!‘, to everyone who helped make both the Service of Thanksgiving and the Picnic in the Park, celebrating Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday, such a great success last Sunday. Then on Sunday…….

Sunday 19th June at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist with Baptism for the Fourth Sunday after Trinity
We shall hear some words of the prophet Isaiah – Isaiah 65. 1-9, together with a further instalment of St. Paul’s letter to the Churches of Galatia – Galatians 3. 23-29. Our Gospel reading – Luke 8. 26-39, tells of the healing of a man usually known as the Gadarene demoniac. During the service, I will be baptising all four children of Ben & Viktorie Souček. It has been wonderful to finally nail down a date when all eight godparents can be present :-) There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and following worship, Cool Drinks & Light Refreshments will be served at the back of the Church.

Also available on Sunday will be free copies of the new summer edition of the European Anglican Magazine, which I successfully recovered from my local Post Office yesterday. And there are still a few copies left of the book ‘The Servant Queen and the King she serves‘ if you didn’t get a copy last Sunday, or know of somebody who would appreciate receiving one.

I look forward to seeing many of you over the coming weekend

Best wishes

Ricky
