Dear People & Friends of St. Clement’s,

There are three important things to remind you of that are happening this weekend.

Friday 11th December at 17.00 – Christmas Carols
As we have done the last three years, we are again hosting a Christmas Carol singalong, raising funds for the work of UNICEF.

Sunday 13th December at 11.00 – Sung Eucharist for the Third Sunday of Advent
The Gospel reading will follow on directly from where last Sunday’s Gospel reading ended – Luke 3. 7-18. It tells us more of what John the Baptist had to say those who came to hear him out in the country by the River Jordan. The supporting readings will be Zephaniah 3. 14-20 together with Philippians 4. 4-7. There will be parallel Children’s Ministry and following worship, Coffee Hour in the hall on the third floor of Klimentská 18. Please note that this will be the last Children’s Ministry in 2015. It will resume in 2016!

Sunday 13th December at 18.00 – A Service of Lessons and Carols
Our traditional Carol Service with the opportunity to hear again, Bible readings that tell the story of our redemption, made possible by God becoming incarnate, in the person of Jesus Christ, and to join in singing a variety of Christmas Carols. Plan to be there and invite your friends to come with you. The collection taken during this service, will go to Bishop Robert’s Advent Appeal Fund, supporting the work of the Anglican Church in Athens, with refugees from the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
